Trump to Approve Saudi Arabia's Nuclear Program in Deal Expected Wednesday

According to two sources cited by the Associated Press, an official announcement regarding a nuclear agreement between the United States and Saudi Arabia is expected early Wednesday.

The deal is anticipated to last for 30 years and is projected to involve American companies in developing Saudi Arabia's nuclear program. It may also permit the establishment of a uranium enrichment facility in Saudi Arabia following a joint study between the two countries.

Both President Trump and his predecessor sought to reach a nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia that would enable the transfer of American nuclear technology to the kingdom.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, a country known to possess nuclear weapons, have already signed a mutual defense pact after Israel launched an attack on Qatar targeting officials from the "" movement.
