Trump's Ocean: US President Demands Renaming Atlantic to 'Trump Ocean'
US President Donald Trump called for renaming the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean to "Trump Ocean" during a rally in Tennessee, joking about changing major waterways after previously renaming the Gulf of Mexico.

US President Donald Trump demanded the renaming of the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean to "Trump Ocean" during an election rally in Tennessee.
Trump joked with attendees at the rally, saying: "The United States needs an ocean and a major river renamed after I previously changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America."
He continued: "I am thinking of the Atlantic or Pacific, let's call it Trump Ocean or Americas Ocean, or something like that," and his remarks drew applause from those present.
Trump noted that he would not change the name of the Hudson River because he admires the English explorer Henry Hudson, after whom the river is named.
As for the Mississippi River, Trump confirmed that he would keep its name because he loves the state of Mississippi, which he won by a large margin in the elections.
