UAE and Israeli Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments by Phone
The foreign ministers of the UAE and Israel held a phone call to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and the safety of Flydubai passengers.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them during a phone call with Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar.
The two sides also exchanged views on overall developments in the region, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
During the call, Abdullah bin Zayed inquired about the safety of passengers on the Flydubai flight from Dubai International Airport to Ben Gurion International Airport, which experienced a security incident that was contained. He expressed his wishes for their good health and well-being and conveyed his greetings to the passengers' families.
