The Ukrainian Navy announced today, Thursday, that it destroyed 6 Russian military aircraft of the "Sukhoi-34M" type in a nighttime strike on "Borisoglebsk" airport in the Russian Voronezh region. According to Reuters agency.

The Navy added via the Telegram app that it used the Neptune coastal missile system

in the attack.

Media reports indicated successive explosions and a massive fire at the "Borisoglebsk" military airport near the Russian Voronezh region, following its targeting by a Ukrainian attack.

According to what was reported by the Ukrainian News Agency "Ukrinform," citing local news channels, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, issued repeated warnings about an aerial drone attack in the region.

Videos circulated on social media networks and clips prepared by local residents and field sources showed flashes and successive explosions, followed by the outbreak of a huge fire whose flames and rising smoke were seen from various parts of the city.

These field developments come amid the intensity of Ukrainian strikes targeting Russian military bases and facilities behind the front lines, as "Ukrinform" earlier reported that Ukrainian drones targeted two Russian fighter jets inside an air base in the Adygea region.
