Vance Refrains from Endorsing Netanyahu, Confirms Non-Interference in Israeli Elections
US Vice President JD Vance declined to endorse Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating he does not interfere in Israeli elections despite former President Donald Trump's recent support.

US Vice President JD Vance refrained from declaring his endorsement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the day after President Donald Trump announced his support for Netanyahu's bid to win a new term in the Knesset elections scheduled for next Tuesday.
In an interview on the program "2WAY Tonight" with Mark Halperin, published yesterday Monday, Vance said: "The President has the most effective form of endorsement in American or international political history." He added: "I am focused on supporting American candidates in the midterm elections."
Vance clarified that he is not criticizing Netanyahu, saying: "I do not oppose endorsing him, nor do I endorse endorsing him," according to his expression, stressing that he "does not interfere in Israeli elections."
These remarks differ from the approach of President Donald Trump, who clearly expressed his support for the Israeli Prime Minister in the upcoming elections.
Trump had praised Netanyahu - considered the longest-serving prime minister in Israel's history - on Sunday via the "Truth Social" platform, describing him as a "great warrior prime minister and a greater partner in the pursuit of peace and confronting the Islamic Republic of Iran."
For his part, Netanyahu thanked Trump in a social media post for his "tremendous support and their joint work."
