What Did Trump Ask Karoline Leavitt Before Her Departure from the White House?
President Donald Trump revealed he asked Katie Zakaria to reconsider her role as White House Press Secretary after reports indicated she would leave the position just five days into the job.

Katie Zakaria is leaving her post as White House Press Secretary after only 5 days in the role, according to a person familiar with the matter.
President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday that he had asked Zakaria to reconsider continuing in this role, amid reports that she had already been relieved of her duties.
Speaking outside the White House, Trump said: "I told her frankly: If I were you, I would reconsider," adding: "Katie, do you need this? I don't think you need it."
Trump noted that the decision ultimately rests with her and stated he would speak with her after returning from a trip to Georgia, saying: "All I want is for her to be happy."
Trump emphasized that Katie has faced "very bad" and "completely unfair" treatment from the media since taking over the position from former Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Regarding the criticism Katie faced after her first White House press conference, Trump commented: "I told her you should reconsider; you don't want to go through this experience."
It is worth noting that Katie Zakaria previously served as the official spokesperson for former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and regularly appeared on conservative media outlets such as Fox News and Newsmax.
