The White House stated that no diplomatic negotiations are currently underway between Washington and Tehran. It emphasized that the U.S. maritime blockade targeting Iranian ports continues without modification.

Administration’s Position on Diplomatic Engagement

White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt told Fox News in an interview that the United States is not engaged in diplomatic dialogue with Iran at this time. She added that the U.S. administration does not rule out any future option—diplomatic or military—in addressing the Iranian file.

Continuity of Maritime Restrictions

Levitt reiterated that the American maritime blockade imposed on Iranian ports remains fully operational and unchanged. This confirms the ongoing implementation of Washington’s maximum pressure policy toward Tehran amid rising tensions in the Gulf region and its territorial waters.
