Yemen: Armed Forces and Joint Forces Fully Recapture Hodeidah's Al-Hisya District from Houthi Control

Yemen's government-backed armed forces and joint units have fully reclaimed the Al-Hisya district in Hodeidah from Houthi control, according to official news agency reports. Clashes between government forces and Ansar Allah have killed over 60 people, including civilians.

According to the Yemeni government-recognized news agency, "The Armed Forces and Joint Forces have fully recaptured Al-Hisya District in Hodeidah from Houthi (Ansar Allah) control."

More than sixty people, including civilians, have been killed in clashes between Yemeni government forces and Ansar Allah, according to medical and military sources cited by AFP.

Three Yemeni government military sources told AFP that "26 soldiers were killed in government ranks while repelling Houthi attacks on the fronts of Mubanah, Jabal Hubashi, and Al-Burh in western Taiz over the past hours," while medical and military sources close to Ansar Allah reported the deaths of 31 fighters among their ranks.
