Yemeni Army Announces Control of Strategic Hills Overlooking Al-Mansoura

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today, Tuesday, control over the strategic hills overlooking the Al-Mansoura area in Al-Waziriya, amid a mass flight of Houthi militias.

Earlier today, the Southern Giants Brigades launched an operation to liberate Al-Waziriya District, belonging to Taiz Governorate, and seize the Al-Mansoura highlands, aiming to reach the Khalid bin Al-Walid Camp, which secures the district and the rest of the western coastal areas from Bab el-Mandeb to southern Hodeidah Governorate.

It indicated that the operation targets the liberation of all mountainous highlands in the district that control the main road connecting southern and western Taiz to the coastal areas, reaching the districts of Hays and Al-Jarahi in southern Hodeidah Governorate.

It considered that reaching this district means fire control over the strategic road and all western coastal areas, including the city of Al-Khokha south of Hodeidah.
