The Yemeni army announced on Friday that it had executed 1,292 targeting operations against sites belonging to the Houthi group during the past twenty-four hours, within what it described as the "Dawn of Yemen" operation, confirming a new field advance in Marib province and inflicting human and material losses on the group.

Official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Rukn Majid Abdullah Al-Nuzaili, stated that the armed forces carried out "1,292 precise and direct targeting operations against legitimate military targets belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia," which included defensive positions, fortifications, trenches, fire sources, gathering areas, and transport and supply means.

Al-Nuzaili confirmed that government forces achieved field gains on the eastern front in Marib province, stating that army units "invested the results of the strikes and fire support, expanded the scope of penetration, achieved a new field advance, and controlled a number of positions and governing bodies."
