The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today, Monday, the continuation of their military operations across various combat axes and fronts, within what they described as the battle for liberation and the completion of restoring state institutions and ending the Houthi coup.

Spokesman for the Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili, stated that military units carried out 1,122 precise targeting operations affecting sites and movements belonging to the Houthi militia. These included artillery emplacements and rocket launchers, defensive fortifications, approach and push routes, supply lines and means, as well as reinforcements, combat buildups, and command and control centers.

According to the statement, operations were concentrated in several combat axes and fronts, most notably Saada, Al Jawf, Taiz, and the coast. Various combat means were used, including fighter jets, drone aircraft, artillery, missiles, rocket launchers, and sniper operations.

Based on the field tally reported by the Armed Forces, the operations resulted in neutralizing 1,747 members of the Houthi militia, in addition to destroying or disabling 364 vehicles, equipment, and military transport and supply means.

These developments come after the announcement by the head of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, of launching a comprehensive military operation to stop the expansion of the Houthi group in areas east of Taiz Governorate, amid a military escalation that included a number of fronts.

The Armed Forces confirmed the continuation of their operations according to approved plans, noting that they are continuing to carry out their tasks on various fronts with the aim of restoring state territory and institutions, establishing national sovereignty, and achieving the assigned missions.
