"I Feel Betrayed": Zelensky Refuses to Resign Under Trump Pressure (Video)
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated he will not resign under U.S. pressure, expressing pain over Donald Trump siding with Russia in the ongoing war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said it was "painful" when U.S. President Donald Trump sided with the other party in the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, after his American counterpart stated that the Ukrainian people should choose a new president.
Zelensky commented during an interview with the popular British media program "Unscripted" by Piers Morgan: "It is painful that President Trump chooses one side... not our side."
He added that he does not mind if Trump remains in the middle between Ukraine and Russia, but stated: "If you are in the middle, you must stay in the middle."
Ukrainian President Zelensky took a firm stance regarding his position as the head of state of Ukraine, confirming that he would not resign under American pressure, saying: "Of course I will not resign. This is my responsibility."
Regarding his confidence in the support of the people, he said: "Of course I am sure of that. We are all Ukrainians and we are all on the same side. We have one enemy, which is Russia. And we have a common goal, which is ending the war."
In response to a question about whether he felt betrayed by Trump, who called earlier this week for a new president in Ukraine after agreeing to lift sanctions on Russian diesel exports, Zelensky answered: "Truly, yes... but the matter is slightly more complex than just my emotions or feelings."
Zelensky added: "It is unfortunate that we are losing a strong partner. We do not sell our country... It is not about business for us, it is simply our lives, and this is our country," according to his expression.
