Jacob Palovian sets the editorial direction of Daily Beirut across all five language editions. He oversees coverage priorities, signs off on major investigations and breaking-news decisions, and is the final authority on accuracy and standards.

Our Beirut headquarters anchors a network of staff editors and correspondents in Lebanon, Egypt, the Gulf, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Russia, and the United States. Stories carrying the byline “Daily Beirut Newsroom” — or its locale equivalents (هيئة التحرير — ديلي بيروت, Rédaction Daily Beirut, Redacción Daily Beirut, Редакция Daily Beirut) — are produced by this team. We use the institutional byline for staff-produced reporting, breaking news, and stories where multiple editors contributed, in line with the practice of Reuters, the Associated Press, and other international news organizations.

Every newsroom article is reviewed and approved by a senior editor before publication.

International Correspondents and Contributors

Daily Beirut commissions reporting from journalists based around the world. Where individual reporters file under their own name, their byline appears at the top of the article and links to their author page.
