Abu Dhabi startup TACTICA AI unveils a multi-domain platform that transforms sensor and operational data into real-time decisions.

Abu Dhabi-based startup TACTICA AI has unveiled a multi-domain platform designed to support informed decision-making, debuting at the "Make it in the Emirates 2026" exhibition. The platform, built on deep technology developed by the Technology Innovation Institute, integrates strategic partnerships with France's Safran and Poland's Satim.
As operational environments grow more complex and demand faster, more accurate decisions, the platform converts scattered information, sensor data, and operational feeds into actionable real-time intelligence. TACTICA AI has already proven its effectiveness in live operational settings, marking the first platform of its kind developed in the region. It introduces a new category of operational AI that moves beyond traditional dashboards and analysis tools to support task-level and process-level decision-making.
The underlying technology was built by the Technology Innovation Institute, the applied research arm of the Advanced Technology Research Council, in under 35 days. It has already been deployed in critical applications and environments. The platform aims to help organizations shift from raw data to faster decision-making with higher coordination and trust.
TACTICA AI combines geospatial intelligence—using satellite imagery, radar, maps, and geographic data to understand ground activity—with open-source intelligence that draws on publicly available information for broader operational context. It also integrates video feeds, sensor data, IoT systems, and historical logs.
The platform uses agentic AI orchestration to first define the operational objective, then dynamically identify the appropriate data sources, tools, models, and workflows to support the mission. This marks a fundamental shift in how operators interact with complex systems. Unlike traditional systems that rely on static dashboards or manual analysis, TACTICA AI executes tasks based on desired outcomes, helping determine what needs to be achieved rather than merely selecting which sensor or data provider to use.
This approach creates a unified operational picture across teams, domains, and data sources, strengthening the link between analysis, decision, and execution while keeping humans in the loop for sensitive decisions.
"TACTICA AI reflects the next generation of sovereign AI, where systems don't just analyze data but support effective action based on it," said Dr. Najwa Al-Araj, CEO of the Technology Innovation Institute. "In complex operational environments, speed and clarity are decisive factors in outcomes. By developing a task-based decision platform from Abu Dhabi, the Technology Innovation Institute continues to create solutions that serve real operational needs and enhance national capabilities, resilience, and independence."
TACTICA AI is designed to support uses across vital sectors including defense, national security, crisis management, emergency response, critical infrastructure, smart cities, mobility, energy, utilities, environment and sustainability, industrial operations, and logistics. The platform combines proprietary AI models developed within the Technology Innovation Institute's research ecosystem with best-in-class global models and technologies from external providers. It relies on a flexible architecture that allows integration of multi-vendor technology rather than locking users into a single system or supplier.
The platform supports natural language interaction, reasoning, and action execution, alongside digitizing and organizing standard operating procedures. It provides real-time assistance to analysts and operators while maintaining human oversight in sensitive operational decisions.
"TACTICA AI shifts the operating model from merely displaying data to actual decision support," said Dr. Shawqi Al-Qasimi, speaking on behalf of TACTICA AI. "The platform unifies data, task direction, workflows, and AI agents into a single operational layer, with easy integration into existing infrastructures. It is not a traditional analysis tool but an advanced operational capability designed to support decisions in the most demanding environments."
The platform helps organizations reduce manual operational burdens, break down silos between systems and teams, and enhance coordination in complex, multi-source environments. TACTICA AI has formed partnerships with global leaders in geospatial image analysis, including France's Safran and Poland's Satim, strengthening its ability to integrate advanced capabilities into a global data and operational technology ecosystem.
The platform can also run in containerized high-performance computing environments, providing mobile capabilities for geospatial intelligence decision-making, particularly in operational settings that demand speed, flexibility, and high readiness. The unveiling of TACTICA AI underscores Abu Dhabi's growing role as a global laboratory for applied intelligence and advanced technology, turning pioneering research into real-world operational applications.
