Adobe launched a new AI-powered "Productivity Agent" within Acrobat to create diverse content, including text, images, and podcasts.

Adobe has unveiled a new "Productivity Agent" powered by artificial intelligence, integrated directly into its Acrobat software. The move aims to streamline digital workflows and broaden content creation capabilities for users, allowing the agent to act as an intelligent assistant that coordinates various tools and models.
The agent can produce a wide range of content, from text and images to presentations, podcasts, and social media posts. It is designed to handle complex tasks semi-independently within the Acrobat environment, relying on natural language commands to generate titles, summaries, and visual or audio material.
Alongside the agent, Adobe announced extensive updates to its PDF Spaces platform, a collaborative document-sharing space. Users can now merge PDFs, documents, links, and notes into a single, customizable interactive environment, with enhanced sharing and publishing features that allow even non-users to view content without an account.
The new updates also broaden support for Adobe's paid plans, including Acrobat Studio, AI Assistant, and Adobe Express Premium. A new version, Acrobat Express, has been introduced, combining AI-powered document analysis with content creation in one platform.
Adobe confirmed that the "Productivity Agent" is built on the concept of intelligent agents that can interact with both internal and external tools, including agents developed by third parties. During the Adobe 2026 summit, the company showcased prototypes of an AI-driven marketing workflow. The system can analyze context from previous files and brand guidelines to produce consistent, customized content.
Regarding PDF Spaces, Adobe presented a new model for document sharing based on interactive intelligence. This model allows for the creation of customized digital workspaces containing files, links, and multimedia content, which are automatically organized and optimized based on the user's goal.
Abhijhan Modi, senior vice president of Adobe Document Cloud, stated that the company is "not just adding features, but redefining how documents are shared to become an interactive experience tailored specifically for each audience."
