After completing nine years at Manchester City, Bernardo Silva is preparing to continue his career at Real Madrid this summer.
During his time at the Etihad, Bernardo made 460 appearances and scored 76 goals, contributing to a period marked by 20 major trophies.
Following the end of the 2025/26 season, the 31-year-old Portuguese midfielder will join Jose Mourinho’s La Liga club, Real Madrid.
Bernardo has considerable experience against Madrid, having played them 13 times while at Manchester City and netting four goals, including two in the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, which helped secure the Treble.
His departure marks the end of a significant chapter during Manchester City's most successful era.
Bernardo’s collection of honors includes six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League trophy, three FA Cups, five Carabao Cups, three Community Shields, a FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup.
In his final season with Manchester City, Bernardo captained the team to victories in the 2026 Carabao Cup against Arsenal and the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
