Brazilian Coach Prickles Chamuska Open to Leading Al Ahly After Torup's Departure
Al Ahly has decided to part ways with Danish coach Jes Thorup after June, with Brazilian Prickles Chamuska expressing readiness to take over if officially offered the role.

The management of Al Ahly football club has resolved to dismiss Danish coach Jes Thorup from his position as head coach of the first team following the end of June.
Thorup failed to deliver the expected results during the past season, as Al Ahly lost the Egyptian Premier League title and exited the CAF Champions League at the quarter-final stage.
Additionally, under Thorup's leadership, Al Ahly was eliminated early from the Egypt Cup and the Cairo Capital Cup, culminating in a season without trophies.
In recent hours, Al Ahly has been linked with negotiations involving Brazilian coach Prickles Chamuska, who currently manages Saudi Arabia's Al Taawoun Club.
Chamuska expressed openness to leading Al Ahly if he receives an official offer to coach the Red Devils.
In statements reported by the "Yalla Kora" website, the Brazilian coach clarified that Al Ahly has not yet contacted him, nor has his agent informed him of any discussions regarding this matter.
He added, "If I receive an offer, I will welcome it immediately because Al Ahly is a big club, and I will certainly agree to lead it."
Chamuska has a distinguished coaching career, having managed several Saudi clubs, most notably Al Hilal.
