Manchester United has finalized a scholarship agreement with Vincent Joseph, a 16-year-old striker currently at Liverpool, outpacing competition from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Earlier reports indicated that both Bundesliga clubs had sent scouts multiple times to evaluate Joseph, highlighting the player's growing reputation in European football circles.

Details of Vincent Joseph's Transfer

Journalist Pete O’Rourke confirmed that Joseph will be departing Liverpool to join Manchester United, having agreed to terms on a scholarship contract at Old Trafford.

O’Rourke shared on X: “Liverpool and England U16 striker Vincent Joseph is set to leave Anfield to join Manchester United after agreeing a scholarship deal at Old Trafford.”

The forward, known for his physical presence, appeared twice in the U18 Premier League last season and scored three goals during those matches.

There is potential discontent in Merseyside as Manchester United is also reportedly pursuing Liverpool academy winger Isaac Konde, with initial contact between United and Konde’s representatives already underway.

Manchester United Advances in Mateus Fernandes Pursuit

In addition to acquiring Joseph, Manchester United has also taken the lead over Liverpool in the race for midfielder Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United.

Reports from The Peoples Person indicate Liverpool showed “genuine interest” in Fernandes, who is regarded as a promising talent capable of becoming a star at Anfield.

Despite Liverpool's interest, Fernandes prefers a move to Manchester United, who are ready to offer a higher transfer fee to secure the midfielder’s signature.
