Mbappé gives Ester Expósito a diamond necklace worth €1.2 million

Reports said Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé gave his girlfriend, Spanish actress Ester Expósito, an expensive gift: a diamond necklace worth about €1.2 million.

The reports came after Mbappé drew criticism for travelling to Italy with Expósito days before the Clasico against Barcelona, while he was recovering from injury. His trip angered many fans, who signed a petition calling for his departure that gathered more than 7 million sites.

Even after the club said the travel had been approved in advance, the backlash continued and the player was booed at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The necklace and its value

Media reports said Mbappé gave Expósito a dazzling diamond necklace valued at around 1.2 million euros. Expósito is a Spanish model and actress with a large following, and is among the most followed Spanish personalities on social media.

The Spanish actress is set to wear the valuable necklace while attending the Cannes festival, which is currently under way.

Mbappé’s final Madrid match

Mbappé is preparing to play in Real Madrid’s final match of the season at the Santiago Bernabéu, against Athletic Bilbao in round 38, the last round of the Spanish league. After that, he is due to join the France squad for the 2026 World Cup finals, which begin on 11 June next year.
