Mohamed Salah recorded 7 goals and 3 assists for Trabzonspor, topping the Super Lig charts alongside Gift Orban.
Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has established himself as a pivotal figure at Trabzonspor since the start of the season, combining goal-scoring efficiency with significant playmaking capabilities. His impact extends beyond personal statistics, influencing team victories and drawing widespread attention from Turkish media outlets.
Salah reached ten goal contributions within his first seven appearances in the Turkish league, comprising seven goals and three assists. This performance marks a distinct achievement according to Opta data, which has tracked this specific statistical category since the 2014-2015 campaign.
The latest addition to his tally occurred during a match against Samsunspor, where Trabzonspor secured a 3-0 victory. Although Salah did not score in that fixture, he provided the assist for Frankolino Djo’s third-minute goal, demonstrating his ability to influence outcomes without finding the net personally.
Media coverage in Turkey has focused on the Egyptian star’s immediate integration and effectiveness. The Kuzey Ekspres network shared commentary on its official X platform, describing Salah’s presence in the Turkish league as "unbelievable" due to his consistent contributions.
Network takagazete emphasized that Salah’s lack of goals in the Samsunspor match did not diminish his importance, noting his role in creating the decisive third goal. The outlet highlighted how he continues to prove his value through direct influence on match results and growing assist numbers.
Newspaper Fanatik characterized Salah’s tenure at Trabzonspor as a success story, citing his technical skills, leadership qualities, and ability to dominate gameplay. These factors have solidified his standing within the squad and attracted praise since the season began.
In individual rankings, Salah currently shares the lead in the Turkish league scoring charts with seven goals. He is tied with Amad Sportif player Gift Orban, maintaining strong competition for the top scorer title while also contributing to teammates’ goals through assists.
This dual capability in scoring and creating chances positions Salah as one of the most influential elements in the team’s lineup. Fans anticipate continued high-level performance in upcoming rounds, hoping these individual metrics translate into collective achievements by the end of the season.
