7 Wanted Individuals Arrested; Weapons, Ammunition, and Drugs Seized

The following statement was issued by the Army Command - Guidance Directorate:

"On 26/9/2026, an army unit arrested citizen (M.M.) and Syrian national (Z.N.) in the Raouche area – Beirut, following surveillance and security follow-up, for committing various crimes including: forming a theft and armed robbery gang, terrorizing citizens, and drug use. A war pistol, a quantity of drugs, and tools used in theft and robbery were seized from their possession.

Another unit raided homes of wanted individuals in the Shrauna neighborhood and the town of Al-Kanisa - Baalbek, arresting citizens: (A.A.Z.), (A.M.Z.), (A.Z), (M.H.M.), for possessing war weapons, and Syrian national (I.H.) for moving within Lebanese territory without legal documents. A quantity of weapons and war ammunition, in addition to a quantity of drugs and military equipment, was seized.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees began under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
