A Lebanese official told "Al-Hadath" that the upcoming meeting between the ambassadors of Lebanon and Israel in Washington will discuss developments regarding the framework agreement and obstacles hindering its implementation.

The source explained that the Lebanese ambassador will present the official Lebanese position on implementing the framework agreement during the meeting, while both ambassadors will submit a report on the meeting to their governments.

The source noted that setting a date for the next round of negotiations will depend on recommendations from the Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors.

It is scheduled that the ambassadors' meeting in Washington will address obstacles related to implementing the framework agreement, along with updates on the agreement's progress.
