Aoun and Al-Hajjaj Discuss Security Conditions and International Support for the Army
President Michel Aoun met with Interior Minister Ahmad al-Hajjaj to discuss Lebanon's security situation and preparations for the Paris conference supporting the army and internal security forces.

President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun discussed the general situation in the country, particularly the security situation, with Minister of the Interior and Municipalities Ahmad al-Hajjaj, and the preparatory conference to be held in Paris to support the army and internal security forces. The minister emphasized the importance of mobilizing the necessary support, which constitutes a cornerstone in strengthening the state's ability to enforce its authority across all Lebanese territory and maintain security and stability.
The discussion also addressed the conditions of municipalities, particularly those in the south, and the challenges they face amid ongoing Israeli attacks, as well as ways to secure adequate support for them. The meeting also covered traffic and road safety measures carried out by the ministry.
