Army arrests five wanted individuals in Baalbek and Zahle, seizes drugs and ammunition

A unit from the army raided homes of wanted individuals in the Chraona neighborhood – Baalbek, arresting citizens (ʿ.Š.) and (W.Š.) for firing weapons, and seized a quantity of drugs along with military ammunition and military equipment.

The same unit also arrested citizen (Ḥ.Š.) at the Al-Khadir checkpoint – Baalbek, for firing weapons.

Additionally, other army units raided homes of wanted individuals in the Qab Elias area – Zahle, arresting citizens (J.ʿ.) and (A.ʿ.) for firing weapons, and found a military weapon in the first individual’s home.

The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and investigations with the arrested individuals began under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
