Arrest of Syrians accused of drugging a minor in Mount Lebanon
The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of two Syrian nationals accused of drugging and raping a minor girl born in 2014 in the Mount Lebanon region.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, the following statement:
Within the framework of the ongoing work carried out by the Internal Security Forces units to combat crimes and arrest their perpetrators, and based on information available to the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit regarding a minor (born in 2014, Syrian) being subjected to drugging and rape, and she was transferred to one of the hospitals.
Subsequently, this detachment intensified its investigations and inquiries, and it became clear that each of the following was implicated:
– E. J. (born in 2000, Syrian)
– A. A. (born in 2009, Syrian)
As a result of precise monitoring and tracking, the detachment's patrol was able to arrest them on 29-04-2026 in the Kahhalouniyah area, riding two motorcycles without license plates and without identification papers.
The detainees, along with the motorcycles, were handed over to the relevant unit to take the necessary legal action against them, based on the指示 of the competent judiciary.
