Lebanese Internal Security Forces raided an unlicensed beauty salon in Zahle, seizing Botox, fillers, and medical devices while arresting two women.

The General Directorate of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued a statement reading:
"As part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to combat all types of crimes across various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Bekaa Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit regarding Ms. S.B. (born 1974, Lebanese) practicing cosmetology without a license inside a salon in the Kasara area – Zahle.
Following surveillance, a patrol from the detachment went to the mentioned location accompanied by an inspector from the Ministry of Health, and arrested her, as well as the salon owner, Ms. N.K. (born 1988, Lebanese).
A search of both individuals and the salon revealed the following:
A device for removing warts and skin moles
Two skin cleansing devices
A laser device and a carbon device for skin cleansing

Eighteen bottles of Korean-made Botox of various sizes, some of which were used
Filler injections and other injections of various types, in addition to a fat-dissolving machine and glass containers holding materials used for injection and cosmetic purposes.
The identity of the main suspect, who uses and manages others to perform medical cosmetic procedures without a license, particularly injecting "Botox" and "Filler" needles, was identified as (Z.M.), and a wanted notice was circulated against her.
The Ministry of Health report also confirmed the presence of a quantity of expired injections, another quantity filled without knowing its source, name, or expiration date, and another quantity of unlicensed materials that entered Lebanon through illegal means.
The aforementioned cosmetic materials were seized, and the salon was closed after being sealed with red wax. The two detainees and the seized items were handed over to the relevant unit for further investigation and legal action, based on instructions from the competent judiciary."
