Cabins Turned into Brothels!
Lebanese security forces shut down 14 cabins and arrested five women and an Iraqi man suspected of facilitating prostitution in Jieh, after reports of girls luring drivers along the coastal road.

"In the framework of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes of all kinds, particularly those related to human trafficking and prostitution, on August 24, 2026, information was received by the Human Trafficking Prevention and Literary Protection Unit within the Judicial Police Branch regarding several girls luring customers from car drivers and pedestrians along the coastal road in the Jieh area, engaging in prostitution inside cabins in the region.
Following this, after coordination with the competent judiciary, a team from the unit proceeded to the site and succeeded in arresting five women, two of Lebanese nationality and three of Syrian nationality, as well as one Iraqi national responsible for the cabins, suspected of facilitating prostitution activities.
Upon questioning the women, they confessed to luring clients and engaging in prostitution inside the cabins, with assistance from the aforementioned individual and another employee working at night, and with knowledge of the cabin owner.
As a result of the investigation, the employee was summoned and appeared; upon questioning, he admitted to the allegations. The cabin owner, however, did not appear.
Based on the instruction of the competent judiciary, all individuals involved were detained, 14 cabins were sealed with red wax, along with the main entrance of the hotel, and a search and arrest notice was issued against the cabin owner, with ongoing efforts to apprehend him."
