Cooperation Agreement Between Health Ministry, Caritas and Army to Support Ain Ebel Health Center
Minister Rakan Nasreddine, Caritas Lebanon President Father Samir Ghaoui, and Brigadier General Robert Chakhtoura signed an agreement to integrate the Ain Ebel Primary Healthcare Center into the national network.

Minister of Public Health Rakan Nasreddine, President of "Caritas Lebanon" Father Samir Ghaoui, and Brigadier General Robert Chakhtoura, representing the Head of Military Medicine Administrative Brigadier General Dani Al-Bashrawi, signed a cooperation agreement stipulating the inclusion of the primary healthcare center at Ain Ebel Hospital in the Bint Jbeil district into the National Primary Healthcare Network. This ensures the provision of essential medicines, vaccines, medical and health supplies, emergency health needs, and field priorities to guarantee service continuity and efficient resource distribution.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of the Primary Healthcare Department at the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Randa Hamada, and a delegation from "Caritas" including the Head of the Health Department Cindy Hakme and Medical Officer Dr. Habib Atallah.
Nasreddine
Nasreddine affirmed the necessity of supporting the steadfast residents in Dibb, Ain Ebel, and Ramish, noting that the region suffers from very difficult conditions and access via convoys is highly complex, which threatens patient treatment and rescue operations. He pointed out that this agreement represents a logical solution through cooperation between the Ministry, the Army, and Caritas to enhance the existing primary healthcare center at Ebl Hospital and develop its services and capabilities. He stressed that the Ministry will spare no effort in securing everything required to strengthen the center in terms of medicine, supplies, equipment, and other necessities.
Ghaoui
In turn, Ghaoui thanked the Minister of Health for his cooperation in facilitating the enhancement of the care center in Ebl, affirming that the efforts of the Ministry of Public Health to support displaced persons and steadfast residents of the South constitute a bright spot. He placed "Caritas" at the disposal of the Ministry for further cooperation in the upcoming phase.
Chakhtoura
On behalf of the Army Command and the Head of Military Medicine, Chakhtoura thanked the Ministry for its cooperation with Caritas, expressing hope to move forward with this collaboration for the benefit of the residents.
