Drug Dealers Arrested in Raids and Ambushes

Lebanese Internal Security Forces arrested six drug dealers in Mount Lebanon following coordinated raids and ambushes, seizing vehicles and large quantities of narcotics.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Department issued the following statement:

"In the context of the continuous follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to limit drug trafficking and distribution operations in various Lebanese regions, information was available to the Information Branch regarding the activity of networks for distributing drugs in several different areas of the Mount Lebanon Governorate.

On dates 22, 21 and 23-09-2026, as a result of field follow-up and intensifying patrols in areas where distribution operations are active, branch patrols executed ambushes and raids in the areas: Balat/Jbeil, Al-Jnah, Ghadir/Keserwan, Al-Ruwaisat, and Nabaa, where they arrested /6/ members of these networks, caught in the act, and seized /4/ motorcycles and two cars, all used in distribution operations. The detainees are:

J. H. (born in 1971, Lebanese)

A. Kh. (born in 1997, Syrian)

H. Z. (born in 2008, Syrian)

B. S. (born in 2001, Syrian)

H. N. (born in 2008, Lebanese)

Kh. A. (born in 2007, Syrian)

Upon searching them, the motorcycles, and the home of the first detainee where the packaging of drugs takes place, a large quantity of narcotic substances prepared in bags, boxes, plastic caps and capsules, and cocaine envelopes were seized, hashish, marijuana, salvia, narcotic pills (Captagon and others), two war pistols with magazines, a sensitive scale, a filter, two needles, empty bags and papers used for packaging drugs, /4/ mobile phones, and cash amounts.

During interrogation, they confessed to what was attributed to them.

The necessary legal procedures were taken against them, and they were deposited along with the seized items at the competent authority, based on the instruction of the competent judiciary."
