Lebanese Internal Security Forces discovered a tunnel used for exchanging stolen goods and drugs between gangs during a raid on a motorcycle warehouse near the Sabra camp.

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
As part of the ongoing work carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat all types of crimes, particularly those related to the theft of motorcycles in various Lebanese regions. On 8-11-2026, while a force from the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit was raiding a warehouse for stolen motorcycles at the entrance of the Sabra camp on the Mount Lebanon side, several wanted individuals opened fire on the patrol and threw a hand grenade. The patrol returned fire, and clashes with the wanted individuals continued for approximately one hour, resulting in minor head injuries to one of the wanted individuals after he fell while attempting to escape.

Following this, the patrol managed to enter and raid the warehouse, discovering a tunnel prepared to facilitate the exchange of stolen goods between gangs. A number of stolen motorcycles, narcotics, war weapons, and ammunition, including hand grenades, were seized.

Members of the gang were arrested on charges of theft, drug trafficking, and other offenses. They are:
M. A. (born 1995, Palestinian)
S. D. (born 1994, Lebanese)
D. A. (born 2006, Lebanese).
Note that the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit had previously raided another warehouse in the Sabra area, where they seized stolen motorcycles and narcotics.

The arrested individuals were handed over to the relevant unit along with the seized items, to take the necessary legal action against them, based on the instruction of the competent judiciary.
