Election Session... and Minor Amendments!
The Lebanese Parliament held a general session to elect secretaries, commissioners, and committee members, with only five minor changes to the existing committees.

The House of Representatives held a general session today to elect two secretaries and three commissioners, as well as members of parliamentary committees. The old composition was largely maintained in the committees with 5 minor amendments:
Akram Shehadeh instead of Hadi Abou Hassan in the Agriculture Committee
Bilal Al-Hachimi instead of Ibrahim Al-Mousawi in the Human Rights Committee
Halimeh Kaakour instead of Ibrahim Kanaan in the Administration and Justice Committee
Najwa Aoun instead of Ashraf Baydoun after Baydoun withdrew from the Technology Committee
Haider Nasser instead of the late MP Ghassan Skaf in the Health Committee
The secretaries of the Bureau of the Parliament, MPs Alain Aoun and Hadi Abou Hassan, were retained, along with the three commissioners of the Bureau: MPs Michel Moussa, Hagop Pakradounian, and Abdel Karim Kabbara.
