Berri Calls for Joint Session of Finance and Administration Committees on Construction Laws and AI
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has called for a joint session of several committees to discuss amendments to construction violation laws and the establishment of a Ministry of Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri has called for a joint session of the Finance and Budget, Administration and Justice, Public Works, Transport, Energy and Water, and Information Technology committees at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 9, 2026, to examine the following agenda:
1. Draft law amending Article 19 of Law No. 319/2019 (settling construction violations that occurred between September 13, 1971, and December 31, 2018).
2. Continuing the study of the draft law submitted by Decree No. 1286 regarding the establishment of a Ministry of Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Lebanon.
