Lebanon
An urgent discussion on Lebanon has been added as the first topic in the US-Iran talks scheduled in Switzerland, focusing on ending conflict and ceasefire enforcement.

An emergency session dedicated to addressing the situation in Lebanon has been added to the agenda of the talks between Washington and Tehran in Switzerland on Sunday, according to a diplomat cited by CNN. This session will be the first issue discussed among the participating parties.
This development occurs amid rising tensions in Lebanon and ongoing Israeli attacks, which pose a threat to the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran.
An Iranian official told CNN that ending the fighting in Lebanon is "the most important item on the Iranian delegation's agenda," noting that Tehran views the establishment of a ceasefire as a fundamental condition for advancing the implementation of agreements with Washington.
