Finance Minister Jaber Emphasizes Priority of Restoring State Role
Finance Minister Yassin Jaber met with MP Hussein Al-Hajj Hassan to discuss developmental and service challenges in areas affected by Israeli attacks.

Finance Minister Yassin Jaber received MP Hussein Al-Hajj Hassan in his office at the Ministry of Finance, accompanied by Bassam Tleis, the central official for municipal and optional affairs in the Amal Movement. The meeting focused on the developmental and service conditions in regions subjected to Israeli assaults, with particular attention to the status and needs of municipalities.
The discussion included financial dues allocated to municipalities and ways to secure them, enabling municipalities to fulfill their roles in rehabilitating damaged areas and providing essential services to citizens.
Jaber affirmed that "the Ministry of Finance is exerting all possible efforts in this regard according to established procedures, to assist municipalities in carrying out their responsibilities during this critical phase." He emphasized that "restoring the state's full role across various affected regions remains a priority, through enhancing coordination among relevant ministries and administrations, especially with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, to expedite the implementation of rehabilitation projects and the restoration of services and infrastructure, thereby affirming the state's presence alongside its citizens."
