Fires broke out in the forests located above the Shmis area between the two peaks, on the outskirts of the town of Kfarshuba, leading to widespread ignition in the forested sites there.

Field monitoring by relevant authorities shows the fire is still under direct observation, while residents have expressed concerns about the flames spreading to additional forested and agricultural areas.

These concerns are attributed to two main factors: strong wind speeds and elevated temperatures recorded in the region during the current period.
