Following two initial complaints submitted to the Public Prosecution, the Free Patriotic Movement, through MPs Nadine Bustani and Cesar Abi Khalil, and FPM Political Council member Wadih Akl, filed two additional complaints with the National Anti-Corruption Commission against Energy and Water Minister Joe Sadi and anyone else identified by the investigation. The complaints concern the files of private generator tariffs and the composition of gasoline and diesel prices amounting to millions of dollars.

The first complaint addresses the 10% increase on private generator bills in cities under the pretext of extending the distribution network, imposing additional costs on citizens, alongside suspicions of collecting undue amounts and tax violations.

The second complaint concerns suspicions of manipulating the components of fuel price structures, premium increases, and station commissions, raising profits for gasoline and diesel importers and distribution stations between 40% and 80% at the expense of citizens' pockets.
