Haneen Al-Sayed: We know that fabricating news will not stop here
Social Affairs Minister Haneen Al-Sayed refutes allegations in a recent article, clarifying that her official visits and expenses are transparently documented in cabinet decisions.

Social Affairs Minister Haneen Al-Sayed posted on the "X" platform: "In response to the article published by Al-Akhbar newspaper titled 'Questions about Haneen Al-Sayed' dated October 5, 2026: Only in the time of Al-Akhbar newspaper do work, official visits, and transparent communication with citizens turn into accusations. This talk does not deserve a reply to the newspaper as much as it deserves clarification for public opinion: If Al-Akhbar had not limited itself to searching for questions about Haneen Al-Sayed, but had also searched a little for their answers, it would have known that all external missions of the minister, including expenses and names of companions, are listed in Cabinet decisions.
Among them is the visit to Italy which was funded by the Italian government, and did not include any other station after it, including the trip to Egypt that the newspaper invented from scratch. As for the presence of a communications team accompanying a minister and documenting his work, it is not an accusation, but part of the duty of transparency, so that the citizen knows what the official working in his name is doing".
She concluded: "We know that fabricating news will not stop here, but perhaps Al-Akhbar should try, even once, to verify the news before inventing it".
