Haneen El-Sayed: Supporting Artisans Is an Investment in Job Opportunities
Lebanese Minister of Social Affairs Haneen El-Sayed highlights the importance of supporting local artisans as a key investment in job creation and national identity.

Minister of Social Affairs Haneen El-Sayed posted on the "X" platform: "I was pleased to accompany Kaja Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and the EU Ambassador to Lebanon Sandra de Wael, during a visit to the Lebanese Professional House, alongside Dania Haffar Bazzy, Chairperson of the Lebanese Professional House Committee... Beyond the beauty of the crafts themselves, the visit served as a reminder of what Lebanese artisans represent: knowledge passed down from generation to generation, livelihoods built through skill and perseverance, and heritage that has managed to endure and renew itself despite years of crises. Therefore, supporting artisans is not only about preserving our heritage, but it is also an investment in job opportunities and local communities, and in an essential part of Lebanon's identity and future."
