The Syndicate of Traffic Experts has called on all experts to immediately report any incident involving a person impersonating a sworn traffic expert before the courts, or practicing expertise work contrary to legal principles.

The Syndicate of Traffic Experts requested in a statement, from all experts "to immediately report any incident in which it becomes evident that there is a person impersonating a sworn traffic expert before the courts, or practicing expertise work contrary to legal principles. It called on experts to "communicate directly with the Secretary or one of the syndicate members or the Syndicate Head personally immediately upon any similar occurrence, to follow up on the matter and take the necessary legal measures against the impersonator and against anyone who signs or cooperates with him in the reports issued by him."
It requested to be provided with all available details, including the location of the incident and its date, the party that made the assignment, the types of vehicles involved, and any additional details that help the syndicate to take immediate action and take appropriate measures.
It requested experts to keep their syndicate card and show it to citizens when inspecting accidents, to confirm their legal status as sworn traffic experts before the courts. The syndicate will communicate with various media outlets to educate citizens and request verification of the expert's identity by showing his syndicate card when he arrives at the accident scene, to protect the rights of citizens and prevent any impersonation.
It stressed that it will not tolerate any violation that harms the profession of traffic expert and the dignity of its members, and will remain keen to protect the profession and safeguard the rights of legal experts.
The syndicate stated in a previous statement, "there is information about some individuals impersonating a sworn traffic expert before the courts, and practicing accident inspection work and implying that they are legal traffic experts." It said: "Accordingly, the syndicate warns these impersonators and everyone who cooperates with them, because these practices constitute direct harm to the expert's interest and his right to a decent living, in addition to harming the entire expertise profession and undermining its credibility before citizens and official and judicial authorities. Therefore, the syndicate confirms that it will initiate taking all necessary legal measures against all impersonators and everyone who contributes to covering for them or dealing with them, and will also prosecute them before the competent judicial authorities. If it becomes apparent, God forbid, that any expert deals with these individuals or contributes to covering for them, he will be struck off from the syndicate and prosecuted according to the rules, with official letters sent regarding him to all competent authorities, from the Ministry of Economy, to the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Interior, in addition to various concerned security agencies and sectors."
It concluded: "The profession of expert is a sacred profession, and the syndicate will not allow any party whatsoever to tamper with it or harm its status and role."
