Interior Minister Concludes Visit to Pakistan with Tour of Security and Technology Institutions
Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmed al-Hajjari concluded his official visit to Islamabad with a tour of key Pakistani security and technology institutions, examining their experiences and expertise in these fields.
Minister of the Interior and Municipalities Ahmad al-Hajjari concluded his official visit to Islamabad with a tour of Pakistani security and technology institutions, during which he reviewed Pakistan’s experiences and expertise in these areas.
In this context, the minister and the accompanying Lebanese delegation visited the headquarters of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) of Pakistan, where they examined its operational mechanisms and efforts in combating drugs, particularly focusing on strengthening security capabilities and knowledge exchange.
Subsequently, they proceeded to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), a central entity in digital governance, national database management, and providing reliable and secure services to citizens across Pakistan, where they listened to a detailed presentation on its digital transformation experience and government service development.
The tour also included the National Space and Aerospace Science Park (NASTP), where Minister al-Hajjari and the delegation learned about key programs and projects in aerospace, aviation, and technology, as well as the center’s role in supporting innovation and advancing technical capabilities.
This visit marked the conclusion of Minister al-Hajjari’s official trip to Pakistan, which included a series of meetings with senior officials and political and security leaders, including the President, Prime Minister, Ministers of Interior, Narcotics Control, and Foreign Affairs, the Army Chief, and the Chairman of the Senate, all aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Lebanon and Pakistan.
