The Israeli army spokesperson reported that a missile was intercepted after being fired towards an Air Force aircraft operating in southern Lebanon, with no damage or injuries.
Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya wrote on the "X" platform:
"Following the alerts that were activated a short time ago in the Neve Yam area, it concerns an interceptor missile launched towards a surface-to-air missile that was fired at an aircraft belonging to the Air Force that was operating in southern Lebanon, in an area where IDF forces are operating.
No damage and no casualties among our forces.
The alerts regarding the launch of missiles and rockets were activated following the interception attempt."
