Joseph Aoun: Lebanese people's trust in the army is 'the most important weapon'

President Joseph Aoun affirmed that public trust in the military is "the most important weapon," stressing that the people support and respect the Lebanese Army, calling it "the greatest pride."

He said during the laying of the foundation stone for a housing project for enlisted personnel and soldiers that, despite the difficult conditions facing the country, the military institution continues to accumulate achievements.

Addressing the Lebanese Army directly, he stated: "You are the embodiment of honor, sacrifice, and loyalty," noting that army members sacrifice even for those who stand against us and against the state.
