Karami: Our mission is to secure educational resilience
Minister of Education and Higher Education Karami praised the resilience of school principals and emphasized the ministry's role in ensuring educational continuity despite the destruction caused by the enemy.

The Minister of Education and Higher Education held a meeting via the "Microsoft Teams" application with the directors of destroyed public schools and secondary schools in the governorates of South and Nabatieh. With the participation of the Director of Basic Education George Daoud, the Director of Secondary Education Khaled Fayyad, the heads of the educational region in the South and Nabatieh Ahmed Saleh and Akram Abu Shaqra, in addition to the heads of the secondary education leagues Jamal Omar and Hussein Jawad.
During the meeting, Karami praised "the resilience of the directors and their communication with the administration, their teachers, and their students," noting that "the schools are divided into groups according to each school's situation in order to provide resources to support and serve them."
She affirmed that "the Ministry of Education stands by them in facing the enemy that destroys our schools," pointing out that "her mission as Minister of Education is to secure educational resilience because the value of education is unmatched in importance and is the most important means in the face of the enemy," and called on them to "continue cooperation, communication, and building trust, and to prepare to ensure the continuity of education and the continuity of our schools in their educational and national mission."
Karami listened to the interventions of the directors in which they expressed their suggestions and vision on how to continue education and prepare for the next academic year if the security situation remains as it is, or in the event of a return under the current reality of the schools.
