A wildfire continues to burn in the Aytou mountain area of Zgharta, Lebanon, consuming vast green areas, particularly forest trees. Emergency response efforts are ongoing both from the air and on the ground.
Lebanese army helicopters continue their operations to extinguish a fire that broke out in Mount Aytou in the Zgharta district, near the town of Arbea Qozhia, devouring extensive green areas, especially forest trees.
Environmental groups, volunteers, and civil defense teams at multiple nearby centers are also working tirelessly to prevent its spread.
It should be noted that the location of the fire requires extra effort in terms of hose deployment, number of water tankers, and manpower.
