Leaks on Imminent US Sanctions Against Lebanese Officials
Political sources report growing caution in Lebanon amid Washington leaks about upcoming sanctions targeting Lebanese political and security figures.

Political sources told "Al Jadeed" channel that a state of caution and apprehension prevails among Lebanese political circles, following leaks from Washington regarding sanctions that will target Lebanese political and security figures.
Diplomatic sources indicated to the channel that Washington has begun holding the political level directly responsible for failing to issue an operational order to the army to act within Lebanon to restrict weapons, or for not establishing a gradual and clear plan to deal with potential security events.
The sources noted that the quadrilateral meeting in Tehran constitutes a prelude to regional preparation for the next phase of resuming negotiations on how to end the war and preserve regional security, based on the premise that this opportunity may be the last to avoid major chaos.
