The Lebanese Cabinet held its regular session at the Baabda Presidential Palace at 3 p.m., chaired by President Michel Aoun and attended by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and ministers, to review political, security, and humanitarian developments.

The Lebanese Cabinet convened for its regular session at the Baabda Presidential Palace at 3 p.m. today, under the chairmanship of President Michel Aoun and in the presence of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and all cabinet ministers. The meeting focused on reviewing recent political, security, and humanitarian developments.
Prior to the session, Presidents Aoun and Salam held a preparatory meeting to discuss current developments and the general situation.
The Cabinet’s agenda comprises 55 items, including draft laws, memoranda of understanding, legislative proposals, appointments, administrative matters, and decrees related to the education sector. It also includes decisions on grants and Lebanon’s participation in external meetings and international conferences.
President Aoun informed the Cabinet of the outcomes of his recent visits to the United States and Turkey, as well as the discussions he held with U.S. President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
