Efforts to solidify the ceasefire and push negotiations forward in Lebanon were the focus of a meeting between MP Ibrahim Kanaan and US Ambassador Michel Aissa. The discussions took place at Kanaan’s residence in Al-Bayyada, where the two reviewed current developments in Lebanon and the wider region.
Particular attention was given to official Lebanese and American initiatives aimed at halting the war and achieving stability. The meeting also covered the importance of bolstering international support for Lebanon during this critical phase.
