Lebanon's Central Bank Activates Mother's Right to Open Accounts for Minor Children

The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Karim Saeed, issued, "in a step that enhances the financial rights of mothers in Lebanon," a notice to all banks requesting the activation of the provisions of Circular No. 305/2009 issued by the Association of Banks, regarding the right of a married woman to open bank accounts for her minor children.
