President Joseph Aoun of Lebanon sent a message of condolence to Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, mourning the victims of the tragic explosion at the Barzan factory. He affirmed Lebanon's solidarity and support for Qatar and its people during this painful ordeal.
The message stated: "As I extend to Your Highness my sincerest condolences and deepest sympathy, I share with you and the people of the brotherly State of Qatar the sorrow caused by this incident. I pray to Almighty God to envelop the injured with His mercy and care, to grant the rescue and search teams success in their diligent efforts to locate the missing, and to protect the State of Qatar, its leadership, and its people from all harm. Lebanon, united with Qatar by genuine Arab brotherhood and enduring affection, stands with you in this trial, sharing your concerns with one spirit and one heart."
