A man identified as "K. M." shot his wife in their home in Bzebina, Akkar; she later died, and he surrendered to security forces.

A man known as "K. M." opened fire on his wife, A. H., inside their residence in the town of Bzebina in Akkar, causing her severe injuries. She was transported to the Youssef Hospital Center in Halba, where she succumbed to her wounds.
Following the incident, the suspect turned himself in to the security agencies. The relevant authorities have commenced investigations under judicial supervision to clarify the circumstances of the case and take the necessary legal measures.
After the event, the Bzebina municipality issued a statement condemning the crime that occurred within the town’s jurisdiction. The municipality expressed deep sorrow and extended sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, praying for God’s mercy upon her.
The municipality also clarified that the suspect is not originally from Bzebina but is a resident there, originating from the city of Tripoli – Al-Sijil Al-Qubba 1016. It called upon God to have mercy on the deceased and to grant patience and solace to her relatives.
